When the first humans looked down on Earth from space, their view of our planet changed forever. From that perspective, we see that our home in the universe is a whole where everything is interconnected. This is where our story begins, taking us on a journey that explores how we humans have altered the Earth—and how we are now beginning to work toward creating a more sustainable society.

Climate change and the adaptations needed to mitigate global warming represent one of the greatest challenges of our time. The transition to a more sustainable future must occur at global, national, local, and individual levels.

We will test and develop a comprehensive concept that includes a rendered dome film, with the possibility to add an interactive, immersive component that offers deeper exploration and serves as a bridge to dialogue-based programming. The dome film aims to provide a knowledge base and a fundamental understanding of the causes and effects of climate change.

The production will fully utilize the immersive format and explore the capabilities of the OpenSpace software, allowing our visitors to experience and explore climate data in an exciting way. The visualization technology enables us to reveal the complex relationships uncovered through scientific research.
